The Ultimate Challenge for Professional Glory
The Big Team Run is a virtual, corporate running event in which teams of 6 virtually compete against each other to cross the finish line first.
In February 2025 teams will virtually travel Scotland's North Coast 500, one of the world’s most beautiful road trips.
The Big Team Run takes place on the Total Active Hub platform and uses our integrated Google Maps to experience Scotland's stunning coastal scenery and rugged mountains.

Charity Partner
We’re proud to partner with SportsAid, a charity that empowers over 1,000 young athletes each year, aged 12 to 18, to achieve their sporting dreams. Representing over 60 sports across Great Britain, these athletes often rely heavily on family support, with 95% receiving no other funding.
SportsAid provides vital financial awards to help cover training and competition costs, offering much-needed recognition and motivation. Through mentoring by Olympians and Paralympians, as well as workshops on mental wellbeing, nutrition, and profile-building, SportsAid’s mission is to encourage, enable, and inspire the next generation of athletes to succeed in both sport and life.

Once you’ve registered for the Big Team Events Active Hub, the myActiveHub app is your go-to tool to track your progress and stay on top of your activities. Download it today on the iOS App Store or Google Play!
With inbuilt activity tracking via GPS you are able to record your activities directly on your mobile phone and access your personalised dashboard to help keep you on track.
Already have a fitness tracker? Head to your connections page to connect directly to Strava, Fitbit or Garmin and watch your activities automatically link up on your Active Hub dashboard! If you use an alternative app such as Apple Watch, Peloton you can link these via Strava.

How does Big Team Run work?
Between 1st – 28th February, the Big Team Run challenges teams of 6 to work together to virtually cover 500 miles as quickly as possible. Each team member tracks their runs using a connected fitness tracker, contributing to the team’s total distance.
What activities are included?
For the Big Team Run only running activities are permitted. If you would like to log a walk, you will need to track this as a run for it to count.
How do I track an activity?
You can download the myActivehub app, available on Apple and Google Play stores. You can also connect your own tracking device, such as Strava, Fitbit or Garmin.
Can I hide my activity map and location?
Yes. Once registered, log in to your Active Hub and visit your account where you can change your privacy settings, including setting up privacy zones.
Do I need a full team?
No, you don’t need a full team to participate. However, with fewer members, the total distance each team member will need to cover will be greater.
Do I have to complete my activities with my team?
No, all activities can be done in your own time, to suit you and your personal schedule. However, if you can, we always encourage teams to get active together when possible.
Does it cost to enter?
No, there is no cost to enter the Big Team Run. However, we have partnered with the charity SportsAid, and would recommend a donation of £5 per person.
