Tony is the founder of Total Active Hub and has made it his mission to get more people moving to improve their overall health. The idea to start a long-term physical challenge came from his own physical and mental challenges back in 2017 which was a busy time with a growing family. He embarked on a year long challenge to complete 1,000,000 metres on his Concept2 rowing machine. This was achieved through a 5am morning routine before his family and work commitments started. Since completing the distance, things have dramatically changed with fitness now an everyday part of his life.
Having spent 20-years in blue-chip organisations (Samsung & HP Inc.), Tony is acutely aware of what companies really offer their employees and how long hours impact physical health. His focus is now to change this and empower the world’s workforce to move more.
In addition to his work, Tony is a keen supporter of his local community and is a founding parent of Evendons Primary School which was established through the UK Governments Free School initiative. Serving as the first Chair of Governors, Tony led the school from day zero and helped shape the leadership which achieved an OFSTED rating of Outstanding at its first inspection.
In the background, Tony suffers from Long QT Syndrome and has a pacemaker implant. This once life threatening condition has put a lot of things into perspective for Tony, which in his own words gives him that ‘fire’ to push forward.
